XP-1020 Express Pay Station
Sales Brochure
The Barcode Machine Readable "Express Exit" Pay Station, Model XP-2020 is
designed to handle the most demanding revenue control requirements. This Exit
Pay Station delivers machine-readable accuracy and speed, and matches it with
the versatility and labor saving ingenuity afforded by "unattended" Exit Lane
egress.
The SysParc Barcode Model XP-2020 Express Exit Pay Station has been designed and engineered for virtually flawless operation at every application in which it is placed, and offers years of trouble-free operation with minimal service and maintenance.
Upon exiting the parking facility, the parking patron inserts the barcode machine-readable ticket they received upon entering the site into the clearly identified slot on the face of the Express Exit Pay Station. The "Fee Due" is displayed to the parking patron on the backlit LCD display. The patron is then instructed to insert and remove their credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Amex) into another slot on the face of the Express Exit Pay Station. This will then satisfy the fee due, and a complete detailed receipt is issued to the patron. The Express Exit Pay Station then signals the exit lift-arm barrier gate to raise, allowing the parking patron to exit the facility.
The parking patron's credit card information is communicated by the Express Exit Pay Station to the on-line Central Facility Management CPU, where it is stored until the chosen credit card clearinghouse is connected to. Then, all of the credit card transactions are downloaded to the clearinghouse for appropriate accreditation to the facility's parking operator's account.
Therefore the parking patron is granted egress quickly, and not left waiting in the parking lane for final approval of their credit card account, a procedure that sometimes can take up to 60 seconds per transaction. This delay is completely averted by downloading by "batches" multiple transactions each time the clearinghouse is connected to, vastly improving transaction throughput time within the Exit Lane.
Show a couple of good, clear, clean pictures (perhaps of the same unit from a couple of angles) of XP-2020 at installed site(s); along with the same basic information we have on the cutsheets. Include a .pdf brochure for downloading here as well as under "Literature" or "Documentation".
CMS-2020 Central ("On-Line") Facility Management Software
Sales Brochure
Parking control applications demand accurate, well organized, and highly
functional control; along with comprehensive reporting capabilities. The
CMS-2020 system software runs in a Microsoft© Windows© 98 or Windows-2000
operating system, and utilizes Microsoft© Access© as the engine controlling the
database. In order to guarantee true open architecture, the SysParc CMS-2020
proprietary software was written using Microsoft Visual Basic© and C++, thus
assuring your application of complete open database connectivity (ODBC). Your
parking applications need and deserve products that are engineered for a high
degree of reliability, and require the flexibility to fit perfectly in a wide
variety of system applications.
The SysParc CMS-2020 software system is designed and engineered for all this and much more! It runs flawlessly in a system made up of component devices made/provided by SysParc, such as Lift-Arm Barrier Gates, Ticket Dispensers and Fee Computers, card access control readers, etc., and offers years of trouble-free operation, helping you to keep your business profitable and running smooth.
The SysParc CMS-2020 Software System utilizes proven and reliable technology to rapidly interpret and record every event within your facility's parking system. Every issuance of a visitor ticket from the Ticket Dispenser(s), or read of a monthly pass at the card reader within the entry lanes, every read of a monthly pass and every transaction at the Fee Computer(s) within the exit lanes, every transaction conducted at the Express Exit Pay Station(s) or Automated Pay Stations, and every process of involving the Exit Verifier(s) is recorded for the purpose of generating comprehensive user-friendly reports when requested.
In addition, the SysParc CMS-2020 Software System allows the authorized operator(s) to monitor system functions, and modify user parameters as necessary. Because the CMS-2020 is modular in design, with Revenue Control, Access Control, and Monthly Cardholder Invoicing sub-systems, you are assured of total system control 24 hours per day / 365 days per year! This is the one system that provides all of the system features and benefits afforded by an "on-line" system without having to sacrifice performance because of price! And with the addition of Microsoft Access, you can even create your own customized reports.
License Plate Recognition System
Sales Brochure
License Plate Recognition (LPR) is an image-processing technology used to much
more positively identify vehicles by the captured image of their individual
license plate. This technology, based upon object character recognition (OCR) is
used in many security and traffic applications worldwide today. We in the
parking control industry have applied this modern technology in a fully
automated form to tighten the security in revenue control applications,
virtually eliminating one form of fraud from the equation, like claims of "Lost
Ticket" and ticket swapping.
The LPR system concept is quite simple, both in its philosophy and functional application. In LPR applications, a few additional peripheral control devices are added to both Entry and manned Exit Lanes. Each of these lanes will have a closed circuit video camera with a fixed focal length lens and auto-iris pointed (focused) on the rear of the entering vehicles. Upon passing through the Entry Lane's lift-arm barrier gate and crossing the safety/closing loop, a signal is generated and sent to the camera to take the picture of the back end of the entering vehicle. The "frame-grabber" computer card connected to that camera then interprets the digital image it sees of the license plate, and translates that plate number into its alpha-numeric text. This entry lane information (lane number, date, time, and license plate number) along with that patron's ticket number is then entered into the system's database for retrieval upon that vehicles exit.
Upon exiting the parking facility, the vehicle approaches the manned exit cashier, stopping their vehicle immediately adjacent to the booth. The patron then surrenders to the Exit Cashier the transient entrance ticket they received within the entry lane. The cashier then presents this ticket to the scanner connected to the Fee Computer within the booth. This start to the exit transaction triggers the video camera mounted within the Exit Lane, and focused on the rear of the exiting vehicle, to take the picture of the back end of the vehicle. The "frame-grabber" computer card connected to that camera then interprets the digital image it sees of the license plate, and translates that plate number into its alpha-numeric text. This license plate number obtained by the camera through the "frame-grabber" is then transmitted to the system's database, where the data is compared to that of this plate number's entrance data. The ticket number stored upon entry is compared by the computer to that of the ticket read to begin the exit transaction process to make certain that all data components match-up correctly. If they do, the transaction is completed in a "normal" fashion. In the event the data does not match-up, an exception transaction sequence is initiated. This exception transaction is then handled in accordance with established procedures by the system's operations management It is easy to see how this process helps plug an obvious hole that exists in traditional exit cashiering applications, which invite fraud and result in lost revenues. This is particularly costly in airport and off-airport applications where tariffs are high and the length of stay by patrons is routinely extended.
